Great game - one nit to pick

Three shuffles and a draw is implemented as three shuffles THEN a draw. You can only draw after the last shuffle. You should be able to draw at any time. Many times, I’ve been one draw away from a win on the first or second shuffle, only to lose it with the final shuffle.

Best solitaire game out there

...though I do wish it would include an option to peek at unturned cards — not to cheat, but to see what could have been done after I lose a game.

Once a favorite but now unstable

This has been my favorite game for years; I deducted stars because it has become increasingly unstable over time and the developers are not updating/addressing these issues. Fabulous game if I could play it without crashes!

Nice

Good game selection. Nice touch screen utilization.

Needs Attention

Crashes are annoying. Please update for more stars. Great game, just needs updated for newer os’s.

Best Time User

Absolutely the best solitaire app available, period.

Great game but loose the wha wha tune when you lose

I play the all time and have had it for years. On my iPad Pro it is a bit unstable, I think related to multitouch. However if it crashes it doesn’t lose its place in the game when you relaunch it. The sounds effects are great, except for the very annoying “loser song” when you lose a game. Please give us an option to turn that off without losing the other fine sound effects.

Great!

I have been using this app nearly forever - through multiple iPod touches and four generations of iPad. It has worked great on all of them. Thanks much to the developer for a great solitaire game and continued support.

One of my favorites

This game was one of the first apps I downloaded when I got my first iPhone. I am still playing it years later. It plays beautifully and looks beautiful on both my iPhone 6+ and my 12.9” iPad Pro.

Great!

All my favorite solitaire games and lots of new ones, too. Super fun!

Cannot stop shimmering

Really unhappy with this. Had free version for years with NO problem. Now with an updated iPhone, its horrible and unusable. Even paid for the $3 version bit problems remain. Cannot stop spinning cards even when box unchecked. Background shimmering is so visually annoying. Sad that I can no longer play solitaire on my iPhone SE. Waste of money.

Great Solitaire

I love this app.

Games

I, for one, love the last update. The bugs that bugged me appear to be fixed, and I do not use the animations; too much fluff.

Cannot Clear Scores

It's was possible to reset the score to 0 in Ipad Freecell, but that function has disappeared. I'm monitoring a neurological deficit with the game, and resetting facilitates data analysis.

Missed the mark.

Yup, the animation became jerky after the update. Nope, reloading the app did not correct the issue. Tis a shame.

WHAT DID THEY DO!!!

I updated this game site today 11/23/16, and now it is slow and jerky ... the cards no longer move smoothly and it is really annoying and hard on the eyes. This was my favorite site, but if not fixed, I will have to go elsewhere.

Today's Upgrade

Just applied the new upgrade. Supposed to enhance the game. See nothing other than the card movements are NOT SMOOTH! Every action is jerky. Do not like it.

By far the best

This is the only game app that I've reinstalled on every new phone and iPad. This is a must have app for long plane rides!

great app

Easy and fun to use. Helps to pass the time while waiting. BUT...... with all the available types of sol, why is there no Thieves of Egypt game? One of my favorites!

Excellent app

This operates a bit differently from the computer version, but I like it - especially since the cards are big enough for my old eyes to see easily. I also appreciate the wide variety of games included.

Fan Tastic!

Easy to use and i win sometimes too! Great variety and not boring! Very addictive. Love this game!

Needs pick 2

Best solitaire game ever but please put pick 2 on it. Its one of my favorite card games.

Ten years and still counting.

I got this for my Mac 19 years ago. Now I have it on my iPad also. Couldn't live without it.

Best Solitaire Game

This is still the best Solitaire app in the store. Don't understand some of the complaints. I play this everyday. It never crashes and has so many options. I have tried many solitaire games on the iPhone but this is the only one still on my phone.

The most complete solitaire

This is the only iOS solitaire I've found that does everything I want (with one minor exception). Of course, once I found this I stopped looking.

Fun to use, lots of games

Four stars on iPad. On iPhone, I wasn't able to use in landscape, only portrait. Most options and most games of any solitaire app I've used

Robert

The best Sol game I've ever played enjoy this thanks for developing.

Fun game

Fun game with a 3D feel. Worth getting. No money needed to play which is a great deal. My only dislike is there are only three card back patterns, don't like any of them, so I would like more choices please. Also I don't like having only one shuffle please change to three. With those. Changes this would be a perfect game!

Solitaire Forever

Excellent app!!!

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this app! Definite must have!

This is my 3rd iPad and it's the very 1st app I loaded on my iPad Air. I play every as I relax in bed & can't go to sleep without many rounds of Golf & Osmosis or Monte Carlo. Golf is my absolute fav game with over 5000 rounds played! Great for 6 hour long car rides since there's so many games to select from. Worth every cent!

Great!

I play this game more than I care to admit! The best Solitaire app on iOS, hands down.

App is great fun to use... A few requests and glitches

I find that the game is a lot of fun to use. I enjoy the animations, AND the fact that you don't have to wait for the card animation to finish before the next move. I also like that the interface is intuitive and easy to use. I also like that you can relax the rules in the middle of a game without starting a new game. I've only played a few different games, but have some comments about those. In Osmosis, you can put any card in foundation 2 (for example) that is up in foundation 1. I thought that the rules stipulated that the first card in an empty foundation has to be the same value as the first card in the first foundation. (I.e., if the first card in the first foundation is 8C, then you can only start a new foundation with an 8.) In Freecell, the app doesn't always allow you to move the maximum number of cards from one column in the tableau to another. I've found that there are times where I'm not allowed to move a particular stack of cards in one play, but if I manually split the move up into two moves it will work. In games like Double Klondike and Pyramid, I would like to be able to relax the rules by having an option to draw one or three at a time (in pyramids) or to have infinite re-deals (Double Klondike).

LOVE IT!!

AWESOME!!

Been on my phone since ’08

Great app, thanks.

Helps me pass those slow times in day!

I've had this game for a couple of years now; and I still love it. There's a wide varity of games with several different skill levels. It's easy to use; and looks and plays well. Lastly the developer is responsive bug reports and is clearly still interested in this and all the other games he has available.

Solitaire Forever in all its glory on an iPad!

Mike has done it again! This time stepping up to the iPad plate by making Solitaire Forever universal! This version feels very much like the desktop version of the game. Not that the iPhone version is lacking in anyway. Both versions of the game are true to the desktop version. It's just that the iPad version has a screen resolution that is pretty much the same as a desktop computer and the processor in the iPad runs the game as fast as most desktop/notebooks. If you are looking for a solitaire card game that has all the classics and more, look no further!

Update frustration

I'd give it five stars if the update didn't force the landscape screen to taper away at the top, making the cards appear farther away. I find it disorienting and REALLY dislike it. Very ironic given all the 'flatness' touted by Apple for iOS 7. Give me the flat landscape back and I'll rate it at the top of the heap!

Best Solitaire app

Great update! Fits the fill iPhone 5 screen now. I have no idea why there are so few reviews on this app, it's definitely the best of the solitaire apps!

Gamer

Great APP....love playing

Time to update

This is a great app, but it is time to update and make it compatible with the wider screens. A review of one star is a bit extreme, but when I see some changes, I will improve it.

My favorite

I play this app daily and enjoy it tremendously. I have had it or the Mac version for several years and consider it to be the only solitaire game to have. Best bang for the buck.

All flash, no substance

An aficionado of Mike's Cards on the big Mac, I happily plunked my money down on this app. Unfortunately, all of the programming allows us to play solitaire underwater. The controls are confusing and terribly misplaced. The individual games often have the rules wrong with no way to correct them. And how many variations of Klondike are needed? Throw them all out and there's probably only 10 different solitaires left!

Love the action

I have had this gamer on my Mac for years! Was so pleased to find a iPad app of the same. Thanks so much. Great to play and so much fun to watch the cards 'fly!'

Great

One of the best around, if not THE best!

Terrible

Worst ever. Give me back my money.

Golf.

I love this game.hard to fine. Great

As addictive as ever (spider)

Highly recommended

Jazzy

I play many solitaire games and almost passed on this one. But it rocks! I win and get cheered on. Best part is watching the cards fly around!!!

Best in Class

This is hands-down the best solitaire app for iOS, MacOS, Windows, that phone OS from G that begins with an "A" and that other phone OS that ends with "8." The reason is twofold. First and foremost, the count of solitary games is astonishing. The breadth of coverage is only exceeded by the open source patience games on Linux. The other reason for Solitaire Forever's ascendency is the game's UI, especially on touch devices. The interface is intuitive and comfortable. I play this game every day on my iPad, and I love it.
